Find the best walk for you using our grading system
Grade 1 walks
These walks are for people who haven’t walked much before and who want to become more active or who are returning from injury or illness.
Walks last up to 30 minutes and take place on flat ground with gentle slopes and are mainly on firm surfaces.
Some walks are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Please check with the organiser before booking your place on a grade 1 walk.
Grade 2 walks
These walks are for people who are looking to increase their activity levels.
They last between 45 minutes and one hour and take place on a mixture of pathways and grass tracks.
They’re unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
Grade 3 walks
These walks are for people who are looking for more challenging walks to increase their level of physical activity.
They last between one hour and 90 minutes and take place on a mixture of pathways and grass tracks.
They’re unsuitable for new walkers, wheelchairs and buggies.
