Love walking? Interested in volunteering?

Our health walks couldn’t happen without our volunteers – people like you who spend their time helping us plan, promote, support, encourage and inspire.

There are lots of benefits to volunteering

As well as supporting others to live happier, healthier lives, volunteering is a great way to develop your skills, grow your confidence and meet new people.

As a volunteer health walk leader you will:

  • help people in your community to get active and healthy, providing vital support that they otherwise might not get, while staying active yourself
  • get to know others and become part of our nationwide community of walkers and volunteers
  • receive specialist training and ongoing support as part of a nationally-recognised and well-respected programme
  • develop and strengthen your skills – learn how to be a great leader, find out more about marketing or enhance your database skills
