The Stroud Walking Festival

Stroud's walking festival takes place annually during September. This year the festival will run between the dates of Saturday 8th September and Sunday 16th September.

It is organised by Stroud Town Council in partnership with a host of local environment and educational groups and organisations. Each year a number of walks will be delivered by a fully qualified walk leader and take place in or close to Stroud. There is always something of interest for everyone. If there isn't, you might like to organise your own walk with a group of friends or associates. However often you walk, however far you walk, for what ever reason, celebrate it a little more during the festival week.

Even if you have never participated in a walk before, this could be a great opportunity to start and even help you to become more active and adopt a health lifestyle.
